Remanufacturing Industry Gets A Plug On MSNBC’s Morning Joe Program

CHANTILLY, Va. – The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) has announced that remanufacturing was featured as a topic of discussion during a segment of MSNBC’s Morning Joe Program with Joe Scarborough and co-host Mika Brzezinski on Dec. 1.

On the program, Dr. Nabil Nasr, director, Institute of Sustainability at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) was featured, explaining the booming remanufacturing industry across the United States. Dr. Nasr explained all the fundamentals of remanufacturing and the positive impacts it has on the U.S. economy and environment.

Later, the program featured Caterpillar’s Group President Stu Levenick and Scott Paul, president of the Alliance for American Manufacturing. Both gentlemen went into further details on the idea of “What’s Old Is New Again.”
