Registration Open For 2019 Upholstery And Trim International Council Convention

The 55th UTIC Convention is scheduled for Sept. 11-13 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino.

The Upholstery and Trim International Council (UTIC), a community of the Auto Care Association, has opened registration for the 55th UTIC Convention, scheduled for Sept. 11-13 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. The annual convention focuses on building relationships between the premier trim wholesalers and exhibitors in the auto care industry.

The centerpiece of the convention is the access to dozens of one-on-one business meetings, which provide attendees the opportunity to privately sit down with their most important suppliers and customers to learn what is new and to do business.

The convention will feature a roundtable event on Thursday, Sept. 12, where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss with colleagues some of the biggest challenges facing UTIC members and the industry as a whole.

The UTIC convention also serves as a valuable opportunity for wholesaler attendees to take advantage of the growing number of exhibitors showing special exclusives at the event. A list of the companies making the commitment can be found in the show brochure and on the website.

This year’s convention will feature its first “40-and-Under Happy Hour” event, a private reception for attendees between the ages of 21 and 40 to network on Wednesday evening, Sept. 11. The event is designed to give young attendees the chance to connect with industry peers and to connect with the next generation of UTIC leaders.

The deadline for early-bird registration and discounted hotel rooms is Aug. 9.
