IRVINE, CA — Prolong International Corp., parent of Prolong Super Lubricants, has named William Carlson as its new vice president of sales.

Prior to this new appointment, Carlson served in a variety of positions for General Motors, including zone sales manager, district sales manager, director of national accounts and director of advertising. In addition, he was the marketing manager for AC spark plugs and Delco batteries. Carlson has also successfully started his own business ventures including marketing and promotional programs in the motorsports industry.

Carlson is already familiar with many of the company’s long-standing accounts and customers and has a strong background in the automotive aftermarket, bringing a wealth of experience and contacts to this position.
