Professional-Strength Zep Commercial Granular Concrete Degreaser to be Sold at Retail Locations

This professional-strength product will be available in Spring 2009 at convenient retail locations for mechanics, automotive repair shops and do-it-yourself consumers.

ATLANTA – As part of the launch of its Zep Commercial brand of automotive maintenance products, Zep Inc. has introduced the Zep Commercial Concrete Degreaser. This professional-strength product will be available in Spring 2009 at convenient retail locations for mechanics, automotive repair shops and do-it-yourself consumers.

“Auto dealers, auto fleets, service companies and other larger-scale customers have recognized and trusted Zep’s automotive maintenance products for years,” said Lisa Malloy, president, Zep Retail. “Now, consumers and smaller businesses that prefer to purchase at retail can buy versions of many of those professional-grade products.”

Zep Commercial Granular Concrete Degreaser is a high-powered, fast-acting alkaline cleaner designed for use on concrete floors. It has a unique combination of wetting agents and emulsifiers, which help in removing the heavy grease and oil deposits that strong alkalies alone can’t remove.

The concentrated granular degreaser is easy to use. Granules can either be sprinkled directly on the floor, or the granules can be mixed with water in a bucket, then spread on the floor with a mop or brush. Solution strength and degreasing activation are indicated by color; the deeper the color, the stronger the solution strength.
