Terence O’Reilly, CEO of Pricedex Software Inc., has announced that Pricedex will be sponsoring a special kick-off educational session at the AASA Technology Conference, focused on Master Data Management and Heavy Duty Product Information Standards. The session will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29 at the AASA Technology Conference being held in Boca Raton, Florida.
The session, entitled “Leading the Pack: Thought Leaders’ Perspectives on Heavy Duty Product Information Standards,” will feature presentations by Pricedex CEO Terry O’Reilly, and industry merchandising expert, Robert Sammons.
O’Reilly’s presentation, titled “MDM and the Aftermarket – Misconceptions and Myths,” will provide a focus on major misconceptions and proper concepts for Master Data Management practices in the Aftermarket. Following that session, Robert Sammons, an aftermarket merchandising expert, will provide what promises to be a provocative and inclusive sell-chain perspective in a presentation titled, “The Compelling Case for Heavy Duty Product Information Standards.”
“Pricedex is a longstanding partner of the AASA Technology Committee,” said O’Reilly, “And we always try to bring the value of knowledge to its conferences. This year is no different, and we are pleased to be presenting these topics to attendees. Master Data Management, or ‘MDM,’ is one of the biggest ‘buzzwords’ of the day, yet one of the least understood, from an aftermarket perspective. We hope to shed some light on what are ‘the right things to do.’ Along with that, Robert Sammons, who, for the past 25 years, has lived and breathed the trials and tribulations of implementing product information standards in both the automotive and heavy-duty retail and distribution segment, will share his perspectives on the ‘urgency to adopt, act and begin to leverage’ the Heavy Duty Product Information Standards. These two presentations should help set the tone for this years’ conference.”
The presentation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29 at the Waldorf Astoria Boca Raton Resort & Club, and is open to all attendees of the AASA Technology Conference.
