DANBURY, CT — Prestone has been named the Official Antifreeze/Coolant of the NHRA. The sponsorship began in January 2004 and runs through 2005.
Prestone, along with Autolite, currently sponsors one of the Hartman Racing Team’s Top Fuel NHRA racecar drivers, John “Bodie” Smith, who finished 8th in the 2003 NHRA POWERade point standings. FRAM, the Official Filter of the NHRA, sponsors Smith’s wife, Top Fuel driver Rhonda Hartman-Smith, who finished last year’s season in 10th place.
