SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Anthony Pratt, director of forecasting for the Americas at Polk, has been named president of the Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA). His two-year term begins Oct. 1.

Pratt has been active with the organization for a number of years and has served on the SAA board since 2008. He succeeds Laurie Harbour of Harbour Results.

"I’d like to take the opportunity to thank Laurie for her guidance and leadership of SAA over some of the most challenging years in the automotive industry," said Pratt. "I look forward to working with the SAA board to advance the Society’s mission to bring value to SAA members by keeping the organization at the forefront of the industry."

Pratt leads Polk’s expanding forecasting business in the U.S., leveraging 35 years of generating industry analysis globally. Polk leadership is pleased to support Pratt in his new role with SAA.

"Anthony’s leadership and our other involvement with SAA create a forum for us to further engage with relevant parties that ultimately bring insights to our customers and other stakeholders. Anthony has a strong command of automotive business issues and we’re very proud of his selection and what it offers to those he consults," said Kendra Rawls, Polk senior vice president. "We look forward to continuing to support the SAA organization in the future."
