CHICAGO — Amidst the tips and techniques talked about at this year’s Aftermarket eForum, one company made it known that it wants to celebrate the successes as well.
Yesterday, during the eForum conference in Chicago, automotive information solutions provider, R. L. Polk & Co. announced the creation of a new award. The new Polk Inventory Efficiency Award was created to recognize companies that have made significant strides in inventory management. The award will be presented annually, with the inaugural award to be presented at the 2005 Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium in Chicago.
Polk is currently in the process of developing the award criteria as well as creating a selection committee. More details on the award and the application process will be available in the coming months, said the Southfield, Mich.-based company.
