Plews & Edelmann Hires National Sales Director, Traditional

Most recently Matt Kenefick was with Akebono Brake Corp., where he was a regional sales manager.

Plews Inc., dba Plews & Edelmann of Dixon Illinois, has named Matt Kenefick to the role of national sales director for the traditional market.  

Kenefick brings more than 17 years of experience in sales and business development to the role.  He has held sales positions with K&N Engineering, Philips, Dorman, Gates Rubber Co., and most recently Akebono Brake Corp., where he was a regional sales manager.

Kenefick earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University, with a focus in Automotive Aftermarket Management.

Kenefick will assume responsibility for the Traditional Market in the United States and Canada and will oversee the regional sales manager team. Tony Edwards, vice president of Business Development shared, “I am excited by the level of aftermarket background Matt brings to our sales team, and I am confident he has the abilities and aptitude to drive our continued growth in the steering category.”
