MILANO — Pirelli & C. S.p.A. is reorganizing its corporate structure in a move to simplify operations and reach an annual savings of roughly $15 million.
The company’s automotive filters business will now fall under the control of a new tires and parts department, which will be headed by Francesco Gori. Gori will also continue as CEO and managing director of Pirelli Tyre S.p.A.
The new tires and parts department will include human resources, administration, purchasing and control, Pirelli Labs, events and advertising, health, safety and environment and the service centers for IT and administrative activities.
The filters business, which operates as Pirelli Eco Technology, focuses on technologies that can reduce emissions from diesel vehicles and heating plants.
