Dr. Tim Nash will step down from his senior vice president role at Northwood University, effective June 30. Nash has agreed to remain in a part-time capacity as director, McNair Center for the Advancement of Free-Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.

Automotive aftermarket executive David Peace has joined Schwartz Advisors’ team of aftermarket experts after more than four decades of successful and broad-based international experience in the automotive parts industry. Prior to joining Schwartz Advisors, Peace enjoyed a multi-faceted career where he held key operating and leadership roles in both large and small aftermarket companies.

Anand Motor Products has named Scott Austin as the sales director for North America, effective immediately. As the director of sales, he will work closely with AMP’s North American customers, as well as lead the company’s business development goals and initiatives in the continent.

Darrel Reuss was recently named president of ATD Tools and The International Tool and Equipment Group (ITEG) effective June 22. Reuss will assume this role from Bill Robinson who will be retiring from the business later this year and who will work with Reuss over the next several months to affect an orderly transition of this important role.

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), the commercial vehicle division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), recently welcomed Caterina Pontoriero as manager, marketing communications and member engagement. Pontoriero brings 12 years of combined experience in business-to-business marketing and journalism to her new role with HDMA. Her previous roles have been in the life insurance and annuity, property & casualty insurance, and retail technology industries.

With more than 40 years of experience in North American automotive aftermarket, Rupert has a degree in history from the University of Maryland.
