Parts Finishing Group Acquired By Pioneer Metal Finishing

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. – Angle Advisors has announced that Pioneer Metal Finishing LLC has acquired Parts Finishing Group Inc. (PFG). Angle Advisors acted as the exclusive investment banking advisor to the shareholders of PFG in completing this transaction.
 
Pioneer Metal Finishing LLC is a nationally recognized provider of cosmetic and wear-resistant coatings for the aerospace, automotive, industrial, medical, military, recreational and electronics. The company provides finishing services, such as anodizing, dye anodizing, hard anodizing, die cast finishes, bright dip anodizing, electroless nickel, chromate conversion, acid etch, passivating, dry film lubricant, painting, powder coating, and e-coating services. Pioneer employs more than 1,400 people, and operates 15 production facilities across the U.S. and Mexico. Founded in 1945, Pioneer is headquartered in Green Bay, Wis.

The company employs a full array of processes to apply proprietary and licensed coatings including rubber to metal bonding adhesives, zinc rich, epoxy and dry film lubricants. Chemical coating services are complemented by metal finishing services including kolene stripping, shot blasting and peening, vibratory deburring, honing and barrel tumbling. The company engineers metal finishing and coating solutions, sequences multi-step finishing processes and minimizes finishing costs for more than 600 active customers across the automotive, commercial vehicle, military, aerospace, recreational, agricultural, appliance, electronics and general industrial markets. PFG operates six state-of-the-art production facilities featuring a comprehensive range of modern processing equipment and has 300,000 square feet under-roof.
