Parts Authority Acquires Coney Island Auto Parts

This acquisition further strengthens the organization’s market share in the East Coast.

Parts Authority, one of the largest automotive and truck parts distributors to the aftermarket industry, has acquired Coney Island Auto Parts. This acquisition further strengthens the organization’s market share in the East Coast. The transaction closed on July 8.

Coney Island Auto Parts was founded in 1986 and operates out of seven locations throughout New York and New Jersey. Coney Island Auto Parts will continue to provide the New York City market with the quality service they perfected throughout their 35 years of business with access to Parts Authority’s extensive inventory and expert service.

“We are very excited to join the Parts Authority family. We share the same business philosophies, and this deal gives both our customers and team members more. Our customers get more options, more parts, and great service and our team members more opportunities,” said Danny Beyda, president at Coney Island Auto Parts. “We would also like to thank all of our supporters, and we are eager to continue serving our customers for decades to come.”

“We are thrilled about acquiring Coney Island Auto Parts. The company has one of the most talented sets of people in the aftermarket industry, starting with Danny and his three sons, Isaac, Sammy, and David. Let’s not forget about the sales managers, Michael and Barry, and all the great counter people plus the countless others too numerous to mention here.” said Randy Buller, president, and CEO at Parts Authority. “The business was converted to our computer system Friday morning. Our mutual customer base will benefit from more inventory, enhanced capabilities, and service,” said Buller. “We are in a position to continue our growth in New York and throughout the nation. Thank you to both teams for working so hard to make this happen. This is an amazing opportunity for us.”
