Parts Authority Acquires 9 Utah Locations From NPW

The transaction was finalized on July 30, 2021.

Parts Authority, one of the largest automotive and truck parts distributors to the aftermarket industry, has acquired nine assets of the parts distributor National Performance Warehouse (NPW) in the Utah market. The transaction was finalized on July 30, 2021.

“Parts Authority has grown from one location in New York to over 250 locations nationwide. When it came to growing our business in the Utah market, the answer was, yes,” said Randy Buller, president, and CEO of Parts Authority. “This acquisition is a fantastic opportunity for our business and will further strengthen Parts Authority’s reach in the Southwest. Larry and the NPW team have done tremendous work. We are excited to welcome all the new team members and customers to the Parts Authority family!”

“The strides made in our Utah operations over the course of their tenure with NPW was only made possible by the wonderful team in that region,” said Larry Pacey, president, and CEO of National Performance Warehouse. “Saying goodbye to the folks will be the hardest part of it all, but we remain confident that the partnership with them and the Parts Authority team will be a successful one. We wish them all the best.”

“The new Utah locations are an incredible addition to the Parts Authority family,” said Senior Vice President of Western Operations Eric Schwartz. “We are excited to expand our footprint in Utah. They have nice locations and most importantly, industry professionals with years of experience. Welcome to the team!”
