Parts Authority Acquires 15 Stores In New Mexico, Colorado

The transaction was finalized on Sept. 1, 2021.

Parts Authority, one of the largest automotive and truck parts distributors to the aftermarket industry, has acquired 15 locations of the automotive parts supplier Parts Plus in the New Mexico and Colorado markets. The transaction was finalized on Sept. 1, 2021.

Parts Plus New Mexico and Colorado will continue to provide the quality service they refined throughout their extended years of business with access to Parts Authority’s expanded inventory and expert service. Parts Plus and its 15 stores will play an instrumental and essential role as Parts Authority continues its geographic expansion strategy, the company says.

“I am confident this partnership will give us a competitive advantage in the New Mexico and Colorado marketplace,” said Adam Honegger, president, and CEO of Parts Plus New Mexico. “Our team members will benefit from more opportunities and our customers will relish the extensive inventory and available programs. We are excited at what this partnership has to offer.”

“I can’t begin to tell you how excited we are about acquiring Parts Plus New Mexico. Not only does it give us a brand-new geographic region, but this organization is known for having a tremendous reputation and a truly respected team.” said Randy Buller, president, and CEO of Parts Authority. “We will ensure that their customers and team members are in good hands for decades to come! We are also looking forward to working with Adam Honegger; he will be leading the charge for us in New Mexico, same as always! We are really thankful that both Sam and Adam chose to partner up with Parts Authority.”
