To accommodate this enhancement, the council will replace its traditional shop/store locator function with a comprehensive list of company and organization website directories that not only help visitors find a convenient repair shop or parts store in their area, but some also offer information and cost estimates on specific parts and repairs by vehicle make, model and year.

Private Equity Group Buys Aftermarket A/C Company
An affiliate of Castle Harlan Partners V has completed the acquisition of IDQ Holdings, an industry leader in Do-it-Yourself branded automotive aftermarket products for servicing and repairing automotive air conditioners.
AAIA Elects Robert Egan Chairman of the Board; New Officers Also Elected
Egan is vice president, North America — Global Aftermarket of Federal-Mogul, headquartered in Southfield, Mich. Before joining Federal-Mogul in 1980, Egan spent 12 years at Chrysler Corp. in a number of sales and marketing management positions. For the past three years, he has been heavily involved with AAIA and served on the Show Committee, Board of Directors and Executive Committee. In 2008, Egan was honored with the Leader of the Year Award from the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA).
