Employees at independent mechanical shops are now eligible to join the Nissan Parts Rewards program (one per shop). Once enrolled, they can earn cash rewards (up to 3%) on total parts purchases by buying at least 10% more Nissan and/or INFINITI parts than the previous quarter.

Nissan To Sell Electric Battery Business To GSR Capital
The sale and purchase agreement covers Nissan’s battery subsidiary, Automotive Energy Supply Corp., as well as battery manufacturing operations in Smyrna, Tennessee, owned by Nissan North America Inc., and in Sunderland, England, owned by Nissan Motor Manufacturing (U.K.) Ltd. Assets sold to GSR also will include part of Nissan’s Japanese battery development and production engineering operations located in Oppama, Atsugi and Zama, Japan.
