BETHESDA, MD — The first online space drawing for AAPEX was a huge success, according to show organizers. More than 1,683 exhibitors participated, accounting for more than 444,000 net square feet of exhibit space sold.
The online format streamlined the process in a number of ways. Since their physical presence was not required, more exhibitors were able to participate; thus eliminating the need for show management to assign space. Booths were color-coded by size, which made it easy to identify appropriately sized exhibit space. Additionally, the space draw helped familiarize the industry with the www.aapexshow.com Web site.
