MIAMI, Fla. Even though the inaugural Speed Warehouse 2012 Trade show, which is now called the California Automotive Racing and Specialty (CARS) Expo is on April 1, this event is no joke, event organizers say.
National Performance Warehouse‘s (NPW) Speed Warehouse is bringing vendors, retailers, installers and enthusiasts together for an educational and fun day of cars, trucks, products and prizes. Moving to a new location and using half of the convention center space, it more than doubles the size of previous shows. Attendees will be treated to a giant car show, and can lay claim to scores of door prizes, including 50-inch screen TVs and a cruise to Mexico, while discovering the latest and greatest in maintaining or accessorizing vehicles of every make and model.
One of the highlights of this year’s show will be the attendance of the Oakland Raider’s "Raiderettes," who will be on hand to sign autographs, pose with fans and draw and present prizes.
President and CEO Larry Pacey had this to say about this year’s show, “This year, we moved the show to a larger and more practical location than in past years. We feel we will need the additional room the Convention Center can provide as we grow the business in California. We’re confident that this move will make the show the premier automotive event in the state. And we’re sure the attendees will be pleased with the improvements.”
A pre-show appreciation banquet will be held on Saturday evening for exhibitors and special guests, where awards such as Rep of the Year and Supplier of the Year will be presented.
