PAMPLONA, SPAIN — NUCAP Industries of Toronto, Canada, has acquired a major interest in ADI Metalparts S.A., a Pamplona, Spain-based manufacturer of disc brake backing plates and accessories.

The soon-to-be-renamed company will direct NUCAP’s operational and sales activities in Europe and the Mediterranean Basin. Eduardo Unzu will serve as general manager of the new business.

Arbesman added that with this acquisition, NUCAP has made its next logical step in supplying the global market. A major part of NUCAP’s global strategy, NUCAP Europe S.A. will provide the company with existing business relationships and viable logistics via ADI’s operations and customer network.
