NTK Technologies Appoints Richard Sullivan As Senior Vice President And Chief Administrative Officer

In addition to his duties with NTK Technologies, Sullivan will support the creation of the Innovation Center operated by both NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) Inc. and NTK Technologies in Santa Clara, California.

NTK Technologies Inc. has announced Richard Sullivan as senior vice president and chief administration officer. Sullivan joins NTK Technologies from Wells Vehicle Electronics, where he held a similar role as executive vice president. Both companies are subsidiaries of NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) Holding Inc. He will report to Yoshitaka Narita, NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A) Inc. president and CEO.

An automotive aftermarket veteran of 38 years, Sullivan joined NGK Spark Plugs in 1985. There he held various leadership roles including vice president of sales and marketing and, later, senior vice president and chief administrative officer.

In addition to his duties with NTK Technologies, Sullivan will support the creation of the Innovation Center operated by both NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) Inc. and NTK Technologies in Santa Clara, California.

“I’m excited for this opportunity,” said Sullivan, “I have been with NGK in various roles for 33 years. The Innovation Center team will concentrate on the future of NGK and my job is to help them be successful. On a personal note, I am a California native. This assignment brings me back home.”

Sullivan is a member of the segment associations, AASA and OESA, as well as the Automotive Sales Council. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration-marketing from California State University Sacramento.
