NRS Brakes Launches Galvanized Brake Pads For Ford F-150 Lightning

NRS Brakes Offers Galvanized Brake Pads for F-150 Lightning

The brake kits cover both front and rear applications for almost 1.6 million vehicles.

NRS Brakes has added brake kits for the 2021-2023 Ford F-150 pickup, including the first F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck. The brake kits, which cover both front and rear application for the almost 1.6 million vehicles covered, include the company’s premium galvanized brake pads as well as abutment hardware and caliper piston cushions.

“The galvanized steel at the heart of all NRS Brakes pads helps provide longer life which is an advantage for all applications, especially electric vehicles like the Lightning which rely less on hydraulic braking than internal-combustion-engine vehicles,” said Montu Khokar, CEO NRS Brakes. “As EV vehicle brakes are used less, corrosion builds up; this is not an issue with NRS Brakes which do not corrode.”

Canadian made premium galvanized brake pads by NRS Brakes have a technology that can be seen. Galvanized steel incorporates Pace Award -winning, patented NRS friction-attachment technology. The company says the galvanized steel backing plates outlast the friction. The company also states the pads will not fail as a result of corrosion or friction material delamination from the backing plate.
