NPW Reports First KARS Expo A Success

KARS Expo was a huge hit with jobbers, suppliers, service techs, car clubs and enthusiasts.

TORONTO – Karbelt Speed and Custom, National Performance Warehouse’s (NPW) Canadian division, recently hosted the KARS Expo – its first trade show under the NPW banner – held March 22-23.

KARS is the acronym for Karbelt’s Automotive Racing and Specialty Expo. The weekend performance showcase started off with an appreciation dinner for the participating vendors and industry special guests. The event was hosted in conjunction with MegaSpeed Custom Car and Truck Show at The International Centre in Toronto, Ontario, for double exposure (wholesale and retail). The KARS Expo had more than 50 manufacturer display booths and attendance reached more than 26,000, making this the largest automotive show in Canada.

The event allowed vendors and technical support personnel to discuss with attendees product applications, tech tips and the latest info on what’s hot for the upcoming motorsport season. Event organizers say manufacturers appreciated talking to both the consumers and jobbers.

Jobbers placed their spring orders and took advantage of the pricing incentives to kick-start the 2014 season. Eligible Karbelt qualified wholesale accounts were able to participate in the cash back, cash raffle, product prize draws and also earn cruise credits with their show purchases. All booths were equipped with customer referral information to become a Karbelt customer and to sign up for referral regarding where to buy the products from one of Karbelt’s jobbers closest to them.

Plans are already underway for the 2015 edition. Click here to view photos from this year’s event.
