Northwood University’s International Auto Show Set for Oct. 2-4

This year's theme is "Reinventing the Wheel: Welcome to the Next Automotive Era."

MIDLAND, Mich. – This year Northwood University’s 46th Annual International Auto Show is set for the weekend of Oct. 2-4. The show, billed as North America’s largest outdoor new car show, is held on the Midland, Mich. campus of Northwood University. This year’s theme is “Reinventing the Wheel: Welcome to the Next Automotive Era.” 

The auto show is free and open to the public. Show hours are Friday, Oct. 2 from 1-6 pm; Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9 am to 6 pm; and Sunday, Oct. 4 from 10 am to 5 pm. Many exhibits will line the Mall Walk and offer a variety of food, information and entertainment.

As a student-run event, general chair of this year’s show is Northwood junior Jacob Wedge from Middleville, Mich. He and his 14-member executive board and several hundred students will be involved in creating the show which attracts approximately 55,000 visitors each year. It is held during the peak fall color season on Northwood’s heavily wooded campus and will feature 450 new domestic and imported cars, trucks, recreational vehicles, vans, experimental and specialty vehicles, plus an extensive aftermarket exhibit.
