Noregon Announces Enhancements To JPRO Professional

JPRO Professional is the company’s all makes and models in-shop diagnostic and troubleshooting tool.

Noregon has announced the release of its third major update of 2020 for JPRO Professional. JPRO Professional is the company’s all makes and models in-shop diagnostic and troubleshooting tool.

The latest update includes an extensive list of new features, coverage, and bi-directional tests for major manufacturers including Bendix, Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit, Ford, Mack, Volvo, and more. A comprehensive list of additions is available on the company’s website.

“Because truck technology is rapidly evolving, technicians require up-to-date applications to diagnose and repair trucks with the speed and accuracy that fleets rely on to maximize uptime,” said Jason Hedman, Noregon product manager. “Our customers recognize the benefit of remaining resident in a single application from triage all the way to completed repairs, so we worked around the clock to provide an update that ensures technicians have the tests and features to accomplish that.”

Driver assistance systems continue to be an area of focus for Noregon with each JPRO release. “Vehicle and component manufacturers are doing an exceptional job equipping trucks with the systems that keep drivers and others on the road safe,” said Hedman. “It is critical these systems work properly, so we proudly meet the challenge of implementing the tools and educational tips that help technicians diagnose and repair new technologies they may not yet be familiar with.”

Additionally, the update includes enhancements to the application’s popular Aftertreatment Diagnostics feature. “We set the industry standard on aftertreatment diagnostics, with many attempting to emulate how we visualize the information for users. Based on customer feedback, we added additional subsystems and their related data to the screen while maintaining the intuitive user-experience they’ve grown accustom to,” Hedman added.

All JPRO updates are available at no cost to active subscribers. Customers can download the latest version via a prompt in the software when connected to the internet, or a download link is available online. To learn more about the release or to purchase JPRO Professional, customers are encouraged to visit the company’s website.
