Nominations Now Being Accepted for MEMA’s Triangle Award

As MEMA celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2004, its coveted Triangle Award will mark its 30th year. Another industry leader may join the ranks of its recipients during AAPEX. Nominations for the 2004 Triangle Award are now being accepted.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — As MEMA celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2004, its coveted Triangle Award will mark its 30th year. Another industry leader may join the ranks of its recipients during AAPEX. Nominations for the 2004 Triangle Award are now being accepted.

Since 1974, the Triangle Award – MEMA’s most prestigious award – has been presented periodically to that person, persons or organization whom the membership of MEMA chooses to honor for unselfish contribution to the automotive industry.

Its roster of winners includes the legends of the industry. But the Triangle Award’s main prestige arises from its selective presentation process. From its inception, the Triangle Award was not intended as an annual award. The award is only presented when truly deserving candidates are found – those whose contributions have advanced the supplier industry.

Nomination forms are available by contacting Jobie Dowd at 919-549-4800 or [email protected] .
