NGK Spark Plugs Taps Jeffrey Schlenker as GM of Purchasing 

Schlenker will be responsible for the efficacy of all sourcing activities across the organization. 

NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.), Inc. announced Jeffrey Schlenker has joined the company as General Manager of Purchasing.  

“I am pleased to announce that Jeffrey Schlenker has accepted the position of General Manager,” said NGK vice president of supply chain management, Clair Stewart. “Jeffrey joins us with extensive experience creating strategies and roadmaps to align with Corporate objectives and ensure cost savings are met. We are excited to have someone of his caliber join the NGK team.” 

Schlenker will serve as a leadership team member and be responsible for the efficacy of all sourcing activities across the organization.  

Schlenker earned a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in Supply Chain Management. He has over 20 years of experience in purchasing, holding positions of increasing responsibility.
