Leading players in the global automotive aftermarket are meeting in Switzerland this week to discuss key issues that are shaping the future of the industry.
More than 350 delegates from 65 countries are attending the third annual NEXUS Business Forum being held from Feb. 21-23 in Montreux. Those attending are members of NEXUS Automotive International (N!), the global alliance of autoparts distributors and N! approved suppliers.
Over the three days, they will hear from 15 guest speakers, who will present the latest insights on major topics, including the threats and opportunities around telematics and connected cars. They also will take part in 4,500 N! member-supplier speed-date business meetings as well as several interactive workshops.
Gaël Escribe, NEXUS Automotive International CEO, said, “The past year has been extremely positive for the NEXUS community with progress being achieved at an unprecedented pace around the world and N! now having a presence in 114 countries.
“Within this context, Montreux and the NEXUS Business Forum are more than ever the ideal place for developing relationships, addressing business opportunities, sharing all kinds of developments and being part of a connected, cohesive group that is shaping tomorrow’s aftermarket,” he said. “We look forward to welcoming senior management teams from many of the world’s leading distributors and suppliers to the forum, which is growing in stature to become a real aftermarket ‘think tank,’ where new products, new trends and new players are introduced, where key issues are debated and sometimes challenged.”
He concluded, “Decisions taken in Montreux [this] week will play an important part in influencing the future direction of the aftermarket, underlining N!’s stated aim to be a growth accelerator for progressive companies in the automotive industry.”
