Nexen Tire Provides Online Social Media Support To Dealers

New platform allows Nexen dealers to connect with consumers through social media, using company-supplied content.

Nexen Tire America has announced the integration of an online retail marketing platform to provide social media content and post automation to its Nexen dealers. This online platform allows participating Nexen dealers to build a larger social media following with consistent content provided by Nexen Tire. The new resource supplies dealers with the tools necessary to begin utilizing a consumer-focused social media strategy and build a successful following.

Nexen Tire says it recognizes its dealers are busy and don’t always have time to update their social media. So, thanks to the integration of this new platform, dealers can now keep their social media fresh and up-to-date with new and exciting content with just three easy clicks and five minutes of their time, all at no cost to the dealer. The platform allows dealers to automatically share posts provided by Nexen. It also allows for unique identifiers such as the dealer’s address, business name, phone number and more to be automatically generated in every new post. This helps consumers to connect directly with the dealer sharing the content. Dealers that are signed up for this new offering also can manually share posts, customize content and even download company assets from Nexen Tire’s asset library. All tools are available for sharing on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and even email. Dealers can even take advantage of local advertising opportunities to help reach consumers within a target demographic nearest their store.

More than 90% of shoppers turn to social media for retail purchasing decisions and 78% of consumers say that a company’s social media posts directly impact their purchasing decisions. As a result, Nexen Tire has developed ready-to-post content, made available to all Nexen Tire dealers.

Each month, Nexen Tire says it will provide dealers with fresh, diverse and engaging content, ensuring dealers always have material to post available at their fingertips. This offers dealers a handful of options for posting and sharing content. For example, dealers can re-share Nexen’s existing national content, or even create their own custom call-to-action posts.

In addition to customizing their own content during the publishing process, dealers also have the option to enable full automation, ensuring Nexen handles all efforts for the dealer.

Dealers can also take advantage of different social media campaigns which center around lifestyle, products and retailers.

Campaigns available at launch include:

  • Nexen Tire Holiday Posts – First campaign is set for Valentine’s Day
  • Roadian MTX Xtreme Off-Road
  • Nexen Tire Mobile App
  • Retailer information – Including hours, locations and more
  • Inspiration information – Campaign focused on visually appealing cars/trucks

Nexen Tire continues to support its dealers by providing the new platform for free. The enrollment process takes only a matter of minutes, and dealers can enroll in the platform by contacting [email protected].

“Nexen Tire recognizes the power of social media. Over the course of 2020, statistics have shown that the U.S. saw a 32% growth in social media use from March to November. We believe our dealers can highly benefit from this free software,” said John Hagan, executive vice president of sales for Nexen Tire America, Inc. “This platform allows our network of dealers to reach new audiences by using carefully crafted social media content, and we believe using this platform will help dealers to better connect with consumers.”
