New Store Openings for Bridgestone Retail Operations Mean New Jobs Across the U.S.

Bridgestone Retail Operations says it created more than 650 new jobs and opened 62 new stores in 2011.

BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. — In 2011, Bridgestone Retail Operations LLC (BSRO) says created more than 650 new jobs as a result of opening 62 new automotive tire and service locations nationwide. BSRO operates nearly 2,200 Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, ExpertTire and Wheel Works locations across the United States.
 
"Our people are our strength," said Matt Hoskins, president, BSRO. "As we grow our business, we’re creating a lot of great job opportunities for people who take pride in providing world-class customer service and want to work with an organization that’s on the move and where they can grow their careers. We’re looking for great teammates who want to grow with us."
 
BSRO, is one of the world’s largest automotive tire and service providers, and continues to expand its network. In fact, the company says it has many new store openings scheduled for 2012,and will open its 2,200th location in the first half of 2012.
 
"The average age of a vehicle on the road is now eclipsing 10.9 years," said Hoskins. "Consumers are taking better care of their vehicles to ensure their cars stay on the road longer than in years past. As a result, the demand for quality automotive tire and service providers is higher than ever before."
