New Full-Service Fleet Maintenance Facility Opens in PA

Fleet First, a new full-service fleet maintenance facility, has opened in Conshohocken, PA. The 8,000-square-foot facility services company-owned fleet vehicles including medium- and heavy-duty trucks. Conshohocken, which is outside Philadelphia, is central to all major highways in Pennsylvania, allowing Fleet First to service customers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware. The facility employs 11 full-time and three part-time staff.

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Fleet First, a new full-service fleet maintenance facility, has opened in Conshohocken, PA. The 8,000-square-foot facility services company-owned fleet vehicles including medium- and heavy-duty trucks. Conshohocken, which is outside Philadelphia, is central to all major highways in Pennsylvania, allowing Fleet First to service customers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware. The facility employs 11 full-time and three part-time staff.

The new Fleet First facility not only offers vehicle painting and repairs, but also frame alternations, metal fabrication, decal production and application, logo design and 24 hour towing. The location also features trailer storage. Vehicles up to 60 feet in length can be painted in the shop’s downdraft spraybooth. Fleet First uses the Delfleet Evolution paint system from PPG Commercial Coatings.

The new business celebrated its grand opening with an appearance by the PPG Show Truck, an 85-foot custom-painted tractor-trailer rig, boasting an original design by Larry Wood, chief designer for Hot Wheels, a Mattel, Inc. brand. Also on display was the Charity Chopper, a one-of-a-kind V-Twin custom bike, auctioned on e-Bay on September 30 to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
