New Dates: AMR To Be Held In April 2021

Organizers have confirmed that the fair will now take place in spring, from April 24-27, 2021.

The 2020 edition of the Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo (AMR), originally scheduled for March, was postponed in accordance with Beijing Government’s guidelines to contain the spread of COVID-19. Following a period of extensive planning and consultations, the organizers have confirmed that the fair will now take place in spring, from April 24-27, 2021 at the New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC).

In Beijing, a series of virus control measures are still in place. With this in mind, the event organizers have assessed the current conditions with industry peers, concluding to hold AMR in spring next year.

Addressing the new show dates, Fiona Chiew, managing director of Messe Frankfurt Traders-Link (Beijing) Co Ltd, said, “With over 30 years of a strong presence in China’s automotive aftermarket, AMR is now an annual meeting point for local and international industry players. Following wide-ranging discussions with exhibitors, visitors, buyer delegations and supporting organizations over the past few months, we have determined that holding the show next spring is the best course of action, both in terms of business and safety.”

Continuing to offer industry players opportunities for business exchange and networking throughout 2020, the organizers will hold a number of industry activities in the coming months.
