New ALLDATA Online Training Center Provides Customer Convenience

Launched in late August, more than 400 customers have already taken advantage of this service, the company says.

ELK GROVE, Calif. – ALLDATA has developed a new training option for customers, the online ALLDATA Training Center. Launched in late August, more than 400 customers have already taken advantage of this service, the company says.

"The Training Center is an interactive website where customers can learn how to use ALLDATA products," said Marsha Egbert, manager of organizational development. "Access is available 24/7 so customers can quickly get the most out of their product subscriptions."

"The ALLDATA Training Center complements our products and gives customers another option for mastering all the features we pack into our products," said ALLDATA Training and Sales Development Manager Peter Jones. "This is a flexible option that incorporates proven learning methodologies, and it lets busy shop personnel train on their schedule."

Currently, there are 12 courses available covering ALLDATA Repair S3000, ALLDATA Collision S3500 and ALLDATA Manage. Two more ALLDATA Manage courses are in production, and several additional courses are planned. Courses are usually less than 20 minutes and they are divided into modules. A customer can decide to take an entire course or just view specific modules. Customers can view titles and courses descriptions without logging onto the site, but they will need a username and password to take courses. For more information about the ALLDATA Training Center and to obtain log-on information, ALLDATA customers can visit www.alldata.com or call 800-697-2533.

Demonstrations of the new interactive product training will be given in booth No. 3265 at the 2011 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), Nov. 1-3, in Las Vegas.
