National Performance Warehouse Hosts The 2018 CARS Expo

Next year, the CARS Expo will be integrated with NPW’s FAST Expo show in Miami, creating a “Super Show” that will represent all 15 warehouse locations.

National Auto Parts Warehouse (NPW) hosted its fourth annual CARS Expo on March 25 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California. Showcasing more than 150 vendors, hundreds of new items and a car show, the 2018 CARS EXPO brought together vendors, retailers, installers and enthusiasts for an educational and fun day of cars, speed, truck products and prizes, making NPW’s CARS Expo California’s largest traditional, performance and truck event of the year.

The 2018 CARS Expo opened at 10 a.m. with the Oakland Raiderettes greeting jobbers, installers, techs and auto enthusiasts from all over California. Door prizes worth thousands of dollars, which included several giant TVs and a Caribbean Cruise, were all given away throughout the day. The CARS Expo had hundreds of vehicles on display, from classic to exotic and everything in between.

Next year the CARS Expo will be integrated with NPW’s FAST Expo show in Miami, creating a “Super Show” that will represent all 15 warehouse locations. The show date will be Jan. 27, 2019.

Do you speak spark plug? Most part numbers are a meaningless series of numbers and letters. But spark plugs have a language on the side of the box that can tell you what’s inside. Like any other language, there are dialects.

The nomenclature of spark plug part numbers can tell you everything from size (diameter and reach) to what materials are on the center and ground electrode. Like learning a new language, knowing how to translate spark plug numbers can open up a new way to inventory and sell spark plugs for counter professionals.
