National Account Manager, Southeast – Dorman Products

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for using data analysis to achieve sales targets.

Responsible for working closely with product management in completing Product Line Reviews on all product categories for DIY and Commercial.

Responsible for using Functional Business plan in determining gaps in sales for the purpose of achieving financial op/target plan.

Co-Develop and implementation of strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and customer needs.

Responsible for exploitation & evaluation of current product line sales to maximize category.

Works with sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.

Responsible for administration of retail price surveys and analysis.

Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.

Assist National Account Vice President in the development and implementation of the revenue/business plan.

Assist / support Supply Chain in customer service functions.

This position is designed to train and develop a contributor to take over the entire sales function for the national account.

Travel as required.

Qualifications:

• Strong Computer Skills

• Experience with NPD analysis
• Strong organization skills, ability to multi task required
• Priority setting and project management skills required
• Ability to Travel 5% of the time

Education/Experience:
University Degree or equivalent; 5-7 years experience in Data/Sales Management to Major Automotive Retailer or related account management experience. Educated in financial analysis Capabilities or P&L responsibilities.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
