NASTF to Meet March 8 in Detroit

The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) will meet March 8 in conjunction with the SAE Congress in Detroit, Mich. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit. NASTF meets semi-annually with committees meeting throughout the year.

ARLINGTON, VA — The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) will meet March 8 in conjunction with the SAE Congress in Detroit, Mich. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit. NASTF meets semi-annually with committees meeting throughout the year.

Among other business, all four NASTF standing committees on service information, training, tools and equipment and communications will be providing reports and plans for future activities.

The National Automotive Service Task Force was established in 2000 to facilitate: the identification and correction of gaps in the availability and accessibility of OEM automotive service information; technology training for technicians; (3) availability of both OEM and generic diagnostic tools and equipment; and communication outreach to automotive service professionals.
