DALLAS, TX — The 2004 International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) will take place during the same week as Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW) in Las Vegas. NACE will be held Nov. 3-6, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, in Las Vegas.

NACE is the world’s collision repair event and draws an attendance of more than 30,000 from around the globe. It features more than 60 educational sessions and an exposition with approximately 500 exhibiting companies. The Automotive Service Association (ASA) sponsors NACE.

“The change in NACE dates and location means that Las Vegas annually will be the place to be for anyone involved in the domestic and international automotive aftermarket,” said Dana Bellantone, NACE show director.

Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino was chosen as the new site for NACE because of its recently completed state-of-the-art convention center. The Mandalay Bay Convention Center is one of the five largest convention facilities in the U.S., and the largest meeting facility on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. It is easily accessible from McCarran Airport.

To best accommodate NACE exhibitors and attendees, NACE will reserve housing blocks at hotels located at the south end of the Las Vegas strip and within close proximity to the new convention center, including Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Luxor, Excalibur and Monte Carlo. A tram system and walkways connect Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Luxor and Excalibur, providing up to 12,000 hotel rooms within a mile.

Plans are also underway to offer badge sharing and shuttle service between NACE and AAIW trade shows.

Information is also available on the NACE Web site at: www.NACEexpo.com.
