MPA Announces Release of Xtreme HD Truck and Bus Catalog

HD catalog offers 2,100 new and reman heavy duty truck and bus alternators and starters.

LOS ANGELES – Motorcar Parts of America (MPA) has announced the release one of its two Xtreme brand catalogs, for heavy duty truck and commercial bus applications, including both 100 percent brand new and remanufactured starters and alternators. The next Xtreme catalog will cover off-highway applications including industrial, agricultural and forklift.

The almost 800-page catalog features nearly 2,100 starters and alternators, more than 12,000 interchanges and includes a 57-page buyers guide with images and attributes to aid in identifying parts. The product line includes nearly 1,700 remanufactured parts and 400 new parts.

Manufactured using upgraded components for better performance and greater durability, Xtreme Heavy Duty units are backed by 1-year warranty coverage. All Xtreme starters and alternators are rigorously T3 Tested in MPA’s ISO/TS 16949 facilities to ensure they meet or exceed specific performance. MPA’s T3 Testing is a three-part testing methodology that the company says ensures total quality: Initial sample approvals test all components, then all critical subassemblies are 100 percent tested, and finally, completed units are individually 100 percent end-of-line tested.

Xtreme offers a full line of remanufactured and 100 percent brand new alternators and starters for medium and heavy duty truck applications. SKU’s cover most truck applications and refrigeration units, built to meet or exceed OEM specifications.
