Mobile Air Conditioning Industry Selects New Pioneers

The Mobile Air Conditioning Industry Pioneer Award was originally established by the International Mobile Air Conditioning Association (IMACA) in 1988. In 2003, MACS Worldwide assumed the role, continuing the tradition of recognizing individuals from all parts of the mobile A/C industry who have made significant career contributions to the mobile A/C and heat transfer industry.

The board of directors of the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) selected three industry members to be recognized as Mobile A/C Pioneers at its recent Training Event and Trade Show in Orlando, Florida. The new Mobile A/C Pioneers are John Bracey, vice president of global engineering at Bergstrom located in Rockford, Illinois; Rodge Brooks, director of OEM applications at T/CCI Manufacturing in Decatur, Illinois; and Billy Carlisle, retired owner of Carlisle Air Automotive in San Antonio.
