Mitchell 1 and MAWDI Form New Parts Ordering Partnership

Mitchell 1 and Middle Atlantic Warehouse Distributor, Inc. (MAWDI) have established a new marketing partnership. As part of Mitchell’s ongoing effort to further extend its national network of connectivity to automotive parts suppliers, the new agreement will allow Mitchell 1 customers to gain electronic access to MAWDI’s line of aftermarket parts, supplies, equipment and accessories and MAWDI customers will be offered special discounts and savings on the entire line of Mitchell 1 software products.

POWAY, CA — Mitchell 1 and Middle Atlantic Warehouse Distributor, Inc. (MAWDI) have established a new marketing partnership.

As part of Mitchell’s ongoing effort to further extend its national network of connectivity to automotive parts suppliers, the new agreement will allow Mitchell 1 customers to gain electronic access to MAWDI’s line of aftermarket parts, supplies, equipment and accessories and MAWDI customers will be offered special discounts and savings on the entire line of Mitchell 1 software products.

Headquartered in Poway, Calif., Mitchell 1 has been a provider of repair information solutions for more than 80 years. The Mitchell 1 family of products includes a complete line of integrated software tools designed to improve repair shop productivity.

MAWDI is one of the largest independent parts distributors in the country, supplying automotive parts to independent parts stores through its 30 distribution centers. MAWDI also owns 180 auto parts stores located throughout the U.S.

According to the two companies, their customers will now benefit from a streamlined Internet-based parts ordering system that will help reduce the estimating and invoicing time requirement, eliminate communication issues that may cause the ordering/receipt of incorrect parts, reduce related shop technician inefficiencies and ensure that the desired profitability has been obtained on each job before it is quoted.
