Mighty Auto Parts Offers Free ‘Vehicle Inspection Playbook’ for Shop Owners

Built on football and sports analogies, "The Vehicle Inspection Playbook -- 15+ Field-Tested Ideas to Dramatically Increase Your PM Sales," is packed with ideas from repair shop owners, technicians and service writers on how to make the most out of every inspection for preventive maintenance.

ATLANTA — Mighty Auto Parts Sales and Marketing VP Gary Vann has authored a free 92-page book addressing the challenges shop owners face in light of lower car counts.

“Even with lower car counts, there’s a lot more money to be made by consistently performing a fixed set of inspection procedures and knowing how to communicate the results to your customers effectively,” said Vann.

Built on football and sports analogies, “The Vehicle Inspection Playbook – 15+ Field-Tested Ideas to Dramatically Increase Your PM Sales,” is packed with ideas from repair shop owners, technicians and service writers on how to make the most out of every inspection for preventive maintenance.

The Mighty “Playbook” is the result of Vann’s discussions with Mighty customers from coast-to-coast who have observed first-hand that their techs do not always perform all the items on the inspection checklist. “The loss of potential sales is enormous, but it can be remedied in a very short time with leadership and training,” Vann noted.

Offered in an easy-to-read format, chapters are laced with humorous cartoon illustrations and color, making the statistics, checklists and techniques come to life, according to Mighty. In its opening pages, the reader is introduced to a formula of 100 vehicles multiplied by 15 inspection points that equals 1,500 additional sales opportunities, following by details on how to make those sales happen.
