The Iowa Motor Carriers Foundation is a division of the Iowa Motor Truck Association (IMTA) and has been awarding scholarships since 1986 to Iowans pursuing an advanced degree at an Iowa college or university. This year, the foundation is awarding 10 $1,000 scholarships to recipients who possess the work ethic, grades and commitment to excellence that are the main focus of the selection process.

The foundation was created in an effort for the trucking industry to give back to the state of Iowa and to invest in the most important asset that Iowa has – the next generation.
