Mickey Thompson Returns As NHRA Major Event Sponsor For 2019

The company will continue its role as a contingency sponsor for all NHRA Sportsman racing classes, as well as Pro Mod and Pro Stock Motorcycle. The company also is the title sponsor of the Mickey Thompson Tires Top Fuel Harley Drag Racing Series.

Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels is back as a major event sponsor of the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.

“Drag racing is an important part of what we do, and who we are,” said Ken Warner, vice president of marketing, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels. “We offer a complete line of competition tires for racers on two and four wheels and our products set new standards and break traditions in innovation.”

In addition to attending all national events with the fully equipped Mickey Thompson trailer to provide trackside support to racers, the company says it will increase its presence at select 2019 NHRA events with a second on-site trailer.

The additional trailer will offer NHRA fans the opportunity to learn more about Mickey Thompson’s lineup of tires and wheels, sign up for giveaways and experience the new Interactive Garage kiosk – a 42-inch touch screen that allows users to digitally customize 4×4 vehicles with Mickey Thompson tires, wheels and many other aftermarket options in order to build and visualize their ideal light truck or SUV.

The company will continue its role as a contingency sponsor for all NHRA Sportsman racing classes, as well as Pro Mod and Pro Stock Motorcycle. The company also is the title sponsor of the Mickey Thompson Tires Top Fuel Harley Drag Racing Series.

In addition, Mickey Thompson will serve as a Divisional Level Associate Contingency Sponsor of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series in all Sportsman classes and will support NHRA racers through the popular Team M/T program, including champions Dan Fletcher and Luke Bogacki.

The NHRA season begins Feb. 7-10 at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com in Pomona, California, which is also the site of the season-ending Auto Club NHRA Finals on Nov. 14-17.
