Michelin North America and ACCC Sign Three-Year Contract Extension

Michelin North America has extended its partnership with American Car Care Centers (ACCC), signing a three-year contract extension to supply the independent dealer network with Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal and private and associate brand tires. This new agreement extends a strategic partnership between the two companies which began in 1993. ACCC is one of the largest networks of independent tire and automotive service dealers, with more than 1100 locations nationwide.

GREENVILLE, SC — Michelin North America has extended its partnership with American Car Care Centers (ACCC), signing a three-year contract extension to supply the independent dealer network with Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal and private and associate brand tires.

This new agreement extends a strategic partnership between the two companies which began in 1993. ACCC is one of the largest networks of independent tire and automotive service dealers, with more than 1100 locations nationwide.

“This new three-year contract demonstrates the commitment that both companies have to extending our business relationship,” said Jim Micali, chairman and president of Michelin North America. “Independent dealers are the backbone of the tire industry and ACCC is a valued partner for Michelin.”

“ACCC is the largest marketing organization in the tire industry and provides a wide range of marketing support, which allows its member dealers to be more competitive,” said Len Lewin, president and COO for American Car Care Centers. “Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal represent a significant portion of our business. This three-year extension will help provide the continuity we desire in an ever changing industry and will help insure the ongoing growth of American Car Care Centers.”

Memphis, Tenn.-based ACCC distributes Michelin, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal tires in addition to its own American Radial brand.
