Mevotech has announced the appointment of Vic Dirkes to the position of director of sales – West in the U.S, reporting to Don Keeling, national director for traditional sales.

Dirkes will be responsible for identifying and targeting accounts and growing long-term relationships and in turn, Mevotech’s market share in the western United States. He will be actively involved in regional account relationships in Arizona, Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington.

Dirkes joins Mevotech with more than 20 years of experience in sales and customer service, including 10 years as senior territory manager for RPS Marketing in Northern California, and as regional sales manager for R&B Inc.

“Vic personifies the Mevotech spirit,” said Keeling. “He has great energy and enthusiasm. When coupled with his depth of experience and knowledge of the aftermarket, I believe we’ll see some big things from Vic. We’re happy to have him join the Mevotech team.”
