Meineke Revs Up Dallas-Fort Worth With 7 Center Re-Openings

All seven locations will undergo various aesthetic updates such as updated storefront signage. Each will once again offer a comprehensive line of car care services, from routine oil changes to extensive car repair, and will remain open during any future renovations.

Meineke has reopened its service bays to customers in seven area locations, opened by entrepreneurs Ben Leffell and Colin Farrell. Leffell and Farrell welcome the community and commuters back to experience firsthand Meineke’s pledge: “Taking Care of Your Car Shouldn’t Take Over Your Life.”

Leffell and Farrell have taken ownership of the following locations in the Dallas-Forth Worth area:

  • Fort Worth, situated at 3012 Altamesa Blvd.
  • Garland, situated at 5615 Broadway Blvd.
  • Arlington, situated at 5980 Poly Webb Road
  • Lewisville, situated at 1550 West Main St.
  • Pantego, situated at 3201 West Pioneer Parkway
  • Pflugerville, situated at 2324 West Pecan St.
  • Austin, situated at 2712 William Cannon Drive West

“Our loyal customers in the Forth Worth and Austin area have always been committed to Meineke, and we hope to reaffirm that connection by building trust with our comprehensive line of services and outstanding team,” said Farrell. “Our Meineke locations in and around Dallas-Forth Worth will now be able to meet the car care needs of the community better than ever before.”

Farrell, 30, a Texas native out of Wichita Falls, and Leffell, 30, bring more than a decade of combined experience in investment banking and business management to franchising. They formed Texas Auto Holdings after meeting at Columbia Business School to pursue investment opportunities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. They were both drawn to the business-friendly climate in Texas and saw untapped potential in the portfolio of existing Meineke locations in the Dallas area, with a strong opportunity for growth.

All seven locations will undergo various aesthetic updates such as updated storefront signage. Each will once again offer a comprehensive line of car care services, from routine oil changes to extensive car repair, and remain open during any future renovations.

“With all the excitement over new technologies in the automotive industry, it can’t be overlooked that there are nearly 300 million cars on the road, and are on average 11.5 years old, and they all still need to be serviced,” said Leffell. “Texas is among the fastest-growing states in the country by any metric and one of the largest populations, with the most miles driven per vehicle in the country. We’re excited by the demographics of Texas and of the general market for auto repair.”

“Ben and Colin are sure to steer local drivers in the right direction when it comes to car care,” said Jeff Todd, director of resale for Meineke Car Care Centers Inc. “They represent ideal franchisees – savvy entrepreneurs that are ready to use their business expertise and the benefits of our franchise support system to push these locations to be the best in town.”

In addition to these locations in Dallas-Forth Worth and Austin, Meineke has another 100 existing units with ongoing cash flow that are prepared for resale. Key resale markets range from Houston to New York and Atlanta to Chicago.
