Matrix System Automotive Finishes Relauches Economy Line

Refinish Solutions helps to provide a viable alternative to increase competitiveness and market presence in the low-cost paint market, according to Matrix.

WALLED LAKE, Mich. — Matrix System Automotive Finishes has announced the relaunch of its economy line, Refinish Solutions. Customers will now see a new modern-looking label for all clearcoats, primers, reducers, balancers and mixed paint.

Refinish Solutions helps to provide a viable alternative to increase competitiveness and market presence in the low-cost paint market, according to Matrix. The economy line helps to lower costs by minimizing the need for an excessive inventory of products. Refinish Solutions can be used by mixing its basecoat directly off the Matrix AccuShade Intermix System.

Dave Brunori, business unit manager at Matrix System, said the company relaunched the line in response to market need. “Our market is changing due to the economic pressures we are all facing day today," Brunori said. "Offering a secondary or ‘low-cost’ product line to our customers has been extremely important to us.”

The relaunched Refinish Solutions line will be released on Jan. 1, 2009.
