CCC Information Services Inc. (CCC) announced that American Honda Motor Co. Inc. has selected the CCC Parts technology as its collision parts e-commerce solution for the company and in support of their dealers in the United States. In-market testing of CCC Parts with Honda and Acura dealerships resulted in strong increases in OE collision parts sales, the company reported.
CCC Parts is powered by the CCC ONE platform, which creates a single connection between OEMs, insurers, collision repairers and third-party providers to interact and transact across a variety of use cases, including new vehicle and parts sales, repair management, telematics-enabled claims and usage-based insurance and safety insights. CCC is a Software-as-a-Service provider to the automotive, insurance and collision repair industries.
CCC Parts is an e-commerce solution that was designed to make it easy for dealers and repairers to present, sell and source parts as repair estimates are being written within CCC ONE. CCC Parts offers add-on solutions that allow OEMs to present promotional pricing upfront during the estimating process, and to customize pricing by geography, vehicle make, model, year or part type. All parties benefit from streamlined and more efficient parts ordering, and shops get the added benefit of having their parts ordering process in one system, creating efficiency in parts quoting and back-end invoice reconciliation, the company says. CCC works with more than 24,000 collision repair facilities in the United States for estimating, parts ordering and shop management functions.
