Manufacturer-Driven IT Solutions Slated for Discussion at MIS Council Fall Conference

Representatives of three automotive parts manufacturers will discuss how information technology (IT) innovations have helped their companies realize supply chain improvements and profitability on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the MIS Council Fall Conference in Marco Island, Fla. The Fall Conference program on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 14, will be devoted to manufacturer IT innovations.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Representatives of three automotive parts manufacturers will discuss how information technology (IT) innovations have helped their companies realize supply chain improvements and profitability on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the MIS Council Fall Conference in Marco Island, Fla.

Slated for Sunday, Oct. 12, through Tuesday, Oct. 14, the MIS Council Fall Conference is the only industry event solely focused on the e-commerce and information technology issues facing suppliers.

The Fall Conference program on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 14, will be devoted to manufacturer IT innovations. Les Wittekind, executive vice president of IT services, USA Industries, will address "Launching a Corporate-Wide ERP Initiative" at 8 a.m. Todd Campau, data management team leader, MAHLE Clevite, will discuss "Committing to Corporate-wide Data Management Excellence," at 8:45 a.m. and Bob Moore, Bob Moore & Partners, will address industry efforts to develop a supplier-driven e-catalog model at 9:15 a.m.

Other presentations at the conference will include:
