MAM Software To Showcase Integrated Point Of Sale And Catalog At The 2019 TruStar National Sales Conference

MAM Software will illustrate to conference attendees how its point of sale and parts cataloging solutions can be combined to save time and money.

MAM Software, Inc announced it will be exhibiting at the 2019 TruStar National Sales Conference, taking place April 12 in Charleston, South Carolina.

TruStar is a buying and marketing group servicing the automotive aftermarket through its network of independent automotive parts distributors across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Its annual meeting creates the perfect opportunity for suppliers to showcase their services to the entire buying group.

This year, MAM Software will be demonstrating the advantages of integrating Autopart, its integrated business management solution, and Autocat, its electronic parts catalog. Combining these two powerful applications provides users with the ultimate automotive aftermarket point of sale solution, MAM says.

Autopart, abusiness management solution for warehouse distributors, parts retailers and jobbers, seamlessly integrates sales, inventory management, forecasting, purchasing, reporting and accounting processes, the company says. It is available as a cloud-hosted or on-premise solution that combines modern .NET technology with a SQL database for unparalleled functionality and flexibility.

Autocat is an electronic parts catalog that enables manufacturers to effectively present their products to all levels of aftermarket distribution. Autocat is an addition to MAM Software’s suite of catalog solutions and utilizes cloud technology to help manufacturers publish their data on a frequent basis, ensuring warehouse distributors, retailers, jobbers and service dealers have access to up-to-date product information.

Manufacturers and suppliers can submit data using both ACES and PIES delivery specifications, which is then verified and standardized before being published to the cloud.

Users access the data via Autocat’s desktop interface, which allows them to intuitively select vehicle information and products, or use the VIN, Interchange and Buyers Guide features, to identify and sell the right parts. Personalized notes and customizable product categories allow the catalog to be tailored to individual requirements.

“We look forward to this event every year. This year we are especially excited to be showcasing the latest version of Autocat and demonstrating how it can be combined with Autopart to create a robust point of sale solution that can save you both time and money,” said Al Neal, vice president of sales at MAM Software.
